College of Preachers organisation

We are a UK registered charity (no. 220764).

Our governing body is the membership, which meets annually.   All who pay an annual subscription to The College of Preachers are considered "members" of the College for the duration of their subscription.


The AGM, which all members are invited to attend, appoints an Executive Committee from amongst its number.  The Executive Committee normally meets quarterly to review and plan the work of the College as whole.

We have a group of tutors, some of whom are members of the Executive Committee, who prepare and deliver our learning material, through seminars and in other ways.

The Director is responsible to the Executive Committee for the day to day running of the College, including the work of the tutors and the production of our magazine The Preacher.

We have an Editorial Team to produce The Preacher, including the Director as Editor, a Features Editor and a Production Manager.

We are all volunteers.  The Director, the Features Editor and Production Manager for The Preacher, and also the tutors, are each paid a modest honorarium for the work they do.
